Organisers of Detroit’s Movement Festival have revealed the first names for the 2023 program.
Celebrating underground music & techno, the 3-day event will take place through May 27 – 29 at the usual riverfront venue in the city – Detroit Hart Plaza.
Some of our favourite names include Carl Craig, Chris Liebing, Derrick Carter b2b Mark Farina, Dom Dolla b2b John Summit, FJAAK, Green Velvet, Masters At Work, Moodyman, and of course, Underworld!
Now in its 16th year, Movement Festival is one of the longest-running dance music events in the world, committed to showcasing authentic electronic music and ‘’providing an experience unlike any other.’’
Always taking place on Memorial Day weekend, thousands of people from across the globe gather in the birthplace of Techno to celebrate the heritage of Detroit and its musical influence over countless generations – new and old.
