Audio company AIAIAI, best known for their TMA-2 range of modular headphones, has introduced UNIT-4 Wireless+, the world’s first portable wireless studio monitors.

Weighing only 2.5kg, the monitors boast over 20 hours of battery life and are designed for musicians ‘on the go’ and to promote collaboration.

With a 4-inch high-excursion woofer and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter, UNIT-4 is said to deliver studio-quality performance, offering ‘precise tonal accuracy’ and a flat frequency response. Creators can also customize the monitors with the 5-band EQ through the AIAIAI app.

Connections-wise, the monitors include W+ Link for wireless audio (the company’s ultra-low latency system, which DJs could use), Bluetooth 5.2, and cable connections through 3.5mm mini-jack and 6.3mm balanced TRS inputs, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.

In keeping with the brand’s ethos, UNIT-4 are made from 100% recycled plastics and a glue-free design for easy disassembly and component replacement.

The UNIT-4 Wireless+ will set you back $800 USD for the pair. For more information, visit the product page.
