Beatport Connect will return to Los Angeles on 25 September for its second year, with the electronic music industry summit expanding its programme and announcing the first wave of speakers for 2026.
The one-day event takes place at the W Hollywood Hotel, where DJs, artists, label executives, promoters and technology companies will come together for panel discussions, workshops and networking focused on the future of electronic music.

This year’s edition introduces two dedicated conference rooms, allowing the programme to split between wider industry conversations and practical career development sessions.
Among the first confirmed speakers are artists Kitty Amor, MPH, salute and Wuki, alongside industry figures including Warner Records’ Adrienne Fitzpatrick, WME’s Bailey Greenwood, Billboard’s Katie Bain, Ninja Tune’s Maddy Savage, Beatport’s Matt Gralen, SoundCloud’s Maurice Slade and NOTION’s Nicholas Douglas.
Additional speakers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Expanded focus on artist careers
While one stage will explore the cultural, technological and business trends shaping electronic music, the second will concentrate on helping artists build sustainable careers.
Sessions will cover topics including branding, business partnerships, long-term career development and opportunities in sync licensing, alongside discussions examining the future of electronic music and the changing landscape of festivals and live events.

The event will also include a community breakfast presented in partnership with Her Dancefloor, designed to support and connect women working across electronic music, before closing with an industry networking mixer in the evening.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet a range of music and technology companies, including Musical Beings, Hisong, Beatport.io and Gigwell.
Beatport launched Connect in Los Angeles last year as an in-person extension of its role within the electronic music community.
Beyond its download store and DJ tools, the company has increasingly invested in educational content, artist support and industry networking, with Connect providing a space for conversations that bring together artists, labels, promoters, managers and technology companies.
The expansion to two conference streams suggests Beatport is continuing to develop the event as a regular fixture on the electronic music industry calendar, balancing broader discussions about where the scene is heading with practical advice aimed at helping artists navigate an increasingly competitive landscape.
Beatport Connect LA takes place on Friday, 25 September 2026, at the W Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. Registration is now open via the official event website.
