As usual, house & techno legend Carl Cox is keeping himself busy… recently announcing he’ll be playing at the The Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt on May 19th 2023!
Built in the early 26th century BC (4500 years ago), the pyramid is said to be the largest & oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact.
No doubt some hypnotic/psychedelic techno will go down a treat, with support acts including Philipp Straub and Gawdat.
Tickets start at 3000 EGP ($100 US), with VIP from 5000 EGP ($164 US). Grab those here.
Having been around since the birth of acid house in the late 80s, Carl Cox is still one of the most hard-working DJ/producers in dance music.
In most recent times, Coxy has been moving away from his usual DJ sets, instead showcasing his ‘’Hybird Live’’ – an on-the-fly performance using electronic music instruments rather than DJ decks.
In case you missed it, he released his first album in over a decade back in December, ‘Electronic Generations’. You can grab a vinyl copy via Discogs or visit Carl Cox’s website for more on that.
