Overview

As one of our trusted affiliate partners here in Australia, we thought we’d give a quick review of Club Ready DJ School. In preparation, we signed up for their flagship ‘Club Ready DJ Course‘.

If you’re currently scanning the market for the right online DJ course, or, if you’re on the fence about getting started with Club Ready, this post should definitely help. So let’s dive in!

Who are Club Ready DJ School?

Based in Sydney, Australia, Club Ready DJ School is headed up by resident DJ and club promoter of over 15 years, Andrew Duffield. In addition to in-person DJ lessons on the ground in Sydney, they also have a popular online course that focuses on getting students ‘’Club Ready’’.

Sneaking in below the radar in recent years (at least on the internet), Andrew has helped thousands of students both locally and internationally for more than 5 years now, and regularly gets them club shows he’s affiliated with.

Before we carry on, here’s a short 2-minute clip from Andrew’s popular YouTube channel:

How much do their online courses cost?

If we focus on their online offerings, there are technically 4 different courses, although they also offer various ‘packs’ and ‘bundles’ that focus on a particular area or skill set that you wish to master.

These packs start at around $95 (everything is priced in US dollars), climbing up to $275 for the top bundle. Here are the 4 courses priced individually; noting that all their courses come with a 1-year money back guarantee:

  • Club Ready DJ Course – $135
  • Advanced Performance Pack – $175
  • Preparing To Play Live – $115
  • Controller To Club Minicourse – $95

Depending on what bundle or course you choose, Andrew includes member access to his ‘Club Ready Tribe’, and also direct access to himself for things like feedback on mixes, etc.

To get a flavour of Andrew’s content before you buy, we’d recommend signing up for the FREE MINI COURSE.

More about ‘Club Ready DJ Course’

If we look at the flagship ‘Club Ready DJ Course’: it’s a guided, step-by-step 4-week program taken 100% online.

Regardless of your skill level, this is a comprehensive course that’s packed with various modules – covering equipment setup and music sourcing right through to advanced techniques, playing out tips (and general mentorship), marketing, and everything in between.

Each week, students receive several videos, goals, and homework assignments, with each lesson building off the last. Andrew says: ‘’By the end of it, you’ll know how to mix any genre at a standard good enough to play live – transforming your mixing skills and confidence behind the decks’’.

Once complete, you’ll be sent a graduating certificate. This means Andrew and his team are confident you’re ready to hit the live scene.

Our Club Ready DJ Course review – summary:

Based on Andrew’s teaching style, the Club Ready DJ Course is best suited to aspiring club DJs, passionate hobbyists and also beginners. Certainly for the price, we believe it’s one of the best DJ courses on the internet right now for this type of student!

More Club Ready DJ Course reviews

One of the key things to look at before spending your money on ANY online course is testimonials. Now these can obviously be faked, or at least manipulated, so it’s crucial to qualify them for authenticity, whilst also checking multiple sources.

After scanning every corner of the internet, we found an abundance of lengthy, independent reviews (hundreds), along with tons of comments from past or existing students. Not just on their website but also across various social media platforms, in online forums, and on YouTube.

Here’s just a couple we plucked from Facebook

Conclusion

Considering that other ‘complete’ DJ courses from the leading competitors can cost significantly more, in our opinion the various Club Ready packages undoubtedly deliver in terms of value for money.

But what we probably love the most is Andrew’s authenticity, relatability, and overall passion for the music. It’s this that sets his content apart!

How to get started

To get started, either sign up for the FREE MINI COURSE (again, this is perfect if you want to get a taster of Andrew’s content before you buy, and for beginners) or check out the various bundle deals HERE.
