Editorial Policy

At The DJ Revolution, our goal is to publish accurate, experience-driven content covering DJing, electronic dance music culture, and industry news.

Experience & expertise

Our content is created or reviewed by people with relevant knowledge and experience, including founder Dale Ashworth, who has been involved in DJing and dance music culture for over 25 years.

For DJ-related content specifically, this includes real-world experience playing in bars, clubs and events, as well as hands-on familiarity with DJ equipment and software.

How content is created

Our articles are produced by our in-house editorial team. We may use AI-assisted tools to help with research, structuring, or drafting, but every piece is reviewed, edited, and approved by a human with relevant experience before publication.

Accuracy & updates

We aim to keep all content accurate and up to date.
Where needed, articles are updated to reflect:

  • Changes in DJ technology or software
  • New industry developments
  • Corrections or clarifications

Product & gear content

Our recommendations are based on:

  • Real-world usage and familiarity with DJ gear
  • Industry knowledge and standard practices
  • Practical considerations (not just specs)

We do not recommend products solely based on affiliate relationships.
