Glastonbury Festival has confirmed ticket details for its 2027 return, with general admission increasing to £408 and tickets going on sale in early October.
The festival returns to Worthy Farm from 23–27 June 2027, following its scheduled fallow year in 2026. Tickets including coach travel will go on sale at 6pm BST on Thursday, 1 October, followed by general admission tickets at 9am BST on Sunday, 4 October.
The £408 price includes a £5 booking fee but excludes postage and packing. That represents an increase of £29.50, or around 7.8%, compared with the £378.50 charged for Glastonbury 2025 — and takes the standard ticket price beyond £400 for the first time.
The increase has prompted a mixed response from festival-goers, with some questioning the cost. Others have defended the price, pointing to the five-day programme and the rising cost of individual concerts as reasons the festival still represents good value.

Anyone hoping to buy tickets must be registered with the festival beforehand. Registration is free and will close at 5pm BST on Friday, 25 September, with no opportunity to submit or amend registrations again until after the October sales. Existing registrations remain valid, although Glastonbury recommends checking that the accompanying photograph is still a good likeness.
Buyers can secure up to six tickets in a transaction with a £100 deposit per person. The remaining £308 will be due between 1 and 7 April 2027. Coach fares are charged separately for those buying a ticket and coach package.
As usual, tickets will be personalised and non-transferable, with tickets sold exclusively through See Tickets. Glastonbury does not issue eTickets or print-at-home tickets for general admission, with physical admission tickets carrying the registered attendee’s photograph and dispatched ahead of the festival.
Children aged 12 and under at the start of the festival can attend without a ticket.
Despite the latest rise, Glastonbury’s admission continues to cover five nights of camping as well as access to more than 100 stages across the site. Recent editions have featured thousands of performances spanning music, arts and entertainment, alongside the festival’s extensive late-night programme.
No lineup has yet been officially announced for Glastonbury 2027.
