Let Them Eat Cake has revealed its full 2027 lineup, with Anetha, Boys Noize, Chaos In The CBD, Ewan McVicar and Joy Orbison among the artists heading to Melbourne for the festival’s 14th edition.

The New Year’s Day festival will return on Friday, 1 January 2027, running from midday until 11pm. There is also another change of scenery this time around, with Let Them Eat Cake moving to The Nursery at Flemington after staging its 2026 edition at Coburg Velodrome.

Lineup highlights

At the international end of the lineup, French DJ and producer Anetha brings the tougher, fast-moving techno that has made her a regular across Europe’s club and festival circuit, while German producer Boys Noize adds a career-spanning mix of electro, techno and acid.

UK electronic mainstay Joy Orbison also joins the programme, alongside Scottish house producer Ewan McVicar and New Zealand duo Chaos In The CBD, whose deep, jazz-tinged house has made them longstanding favourites on underground dancefloors.

Elsewhere, UK funk and disco selector Kirollus offers a change of pace, with Lady Shaka, Juicy Romance and a substantial Australian contingent adding further range to the bill. Local names include Partiboi69, Jennifer Loveless, Shanti, Soul Wun and Wax’o Paradiso.

A new home at Flemington

The venue move gives Let Them Eat Cake its third setting in as many editions. After spending more than a decade at Werribee Park, the festival shifted to Coburg Velodrome for New Year’s Day 2026 and will now take over The Nursery at Flemington Racecourse for 2027.

The Nursery has increasingly been used for large-scale electronic events, including Circoloco Melbourne, while CORE Festival is also scheduled to make its Australian debut there in November 2026.

Tickets

Let Them Eat Cake 2027 tickets start at AU$185, with later releases priced up to AU$215.

Pre-sale registrations opened on 10 September, with ticket offers allocated in registration order and subject to availability. The general sale begins at 12pm AEST on Friday, 18 September 2026.

The festival takes place at The Nursery at Flemington on 1 January 2027, from 12pm to 11pm. For more information, visit the Let Them Eat Cake website.
