Return to Rio releases more tickets after passing bushfire site assessment

Return to Rio 2021

Return to Rio has just increased the ticket allocation for their Halloween weekender this October. Organisers of the festival recently announced the news after they passed a new bushfire-related legislation site assessment.

With the current festival situation here in Australia, the extra tickets will surely be snapped up quickly!

The 3-day fancy dress gathering will once again return to the Del Rio Riverside Resort in NSW from 29– 31 October, for what’s probably the best pre-summer party Australia has to offer (even under normal circumstances).

More about Return to Rio

More than just a dance party that consistently attracts some of the world’s best artists and DJs, Return to Rio is undoubtedly a weekend away with a difference.

Previous headliners include the likes of Carl Cox, The Martinez Brothers, plus a whole stack of other big names.

Aside from the music — an eclectic mix of house, electronic, reggae, soul and funk — the location offers festival-goers a list of activities that includes sipping cocktails by the pool, recharging your batteries with a float along the river, and even yoga & meditation.

The resort is located 1.5hrs north of Sydney on the Hawkesbury River at Wiseman’s Ferry in NSW, and also features a nine-hole golf course, waterpark, volleyball, tennis courts and a clubhouse.

Where to get tickets

Organisers will release the extra tickets to email subscribers on Thursday 17th June. If any tickets remain after that they’ll go on general sale (together with glamping packages) on 1st July.

There’s every chance they’ll be gone by the time you read this, so don’t shoot the messenger if you’re too late! Best thing you can do is sign up to the Return to Rio email list.

If the event is cancelled due to COVID-19, the event will be rescheduled. If for any reason you can’t attend the new date, you’ll be issued a credit for another event, or to use for the festival the following year.

Return to Rio 2021 starts at 11am on Friday 29th October and finishes at 11pm on Sunday 31st October.
