Romania’s UNTOLD Festival drops massive lineup for 2021 edition

Romania’s UNTOLD Festival drops massive lineup for 2021 edition

Romania’s largest electronic music festival UNTOLD have just released their initial lineup of acts for its upcoming 6th edition.

After taking a year off due to Covid-19, the colossal festival will once again be held in the city of Cluj-Napoca at the Cluj Arena in Transylvania, Romania for 4 days & 4 nights through September 9-12, 2021.

Last time around, in 2019, it had well over 300,000 attendee’s from Europe, Asia and North America, whilst inviting more than 200 of the world’s finest artists & DJs.

It’s not just dance music, either – which could be described as a diverse electronic mixture of EDM, House, Techno, Trance and Drum & Bass — 2019 also saw Robbie Williams headlining in the main arena (…just any FYI!).

With help from its incredible visual production — one that would compete with the likes of Belgium’s Tomorrowland festival — UNTOLD has quickly become one for the bucket list for dance fans around the world.

It’s also one of very few large-scale electronic music festivals going ahead this year without any capacity limits!

UNTOLD Festival 2021 lineup & stage breakdown

The main stage is mostly for EDM fans, with HUGE headliners such as David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Lost Frequencies, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Martin Solveig, Afrojack, Benny Benassi, Parov Stelar, The Script, Quintino, Tyga and DJ Snake all on this initial release.

The underground-focussed Galaxy stage will host some of the most in-demand house & techno acts – you’ve got Jamie Jones b2b with Loco Dice, Nina Kraviz, German duo Pan-Pot, Tale Of Us, Belgium’s Amelie Lens, Raresh, Rhadoo, plus a live show from Paul Kalkbrenner.

Over on the Alchemy stage, drum & bass heads won’t be disappointed with headliners including Camo & Krooked, Chase & Status, Netsky, Rudimental, Dirtyphonics, Wilkinson & MC Ad-Apt and Dub FX.

Many more acts will be announced in the coming weeks.
