Sasha & John Digweed Announce First Australian Tour in Eight Years

Sasha and John Digweed will return to Australia in March 2027, with the influential progressive house pairing confirmed for shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Presented by TMRW Music, the three-date tour will mark their first run of Australian shows as a duo since 2019. Each date will feature an extended four-hour Sasha & John Digweed set.

The tour opens at Superordinary in Brisbane on Friday 5 March, followed by Sydney’s White Bay Power Station on Saturday 6 March and The Timber Yard in Melbourne on Sunday 7 March. Australian DJ Robbie Lowe will join them across all three dates.

For Sydney, the event expands into a larger lineup across White Bay Power Station. Marcel Vogel and Ben Gomori are among those appearing alongside Jerk Boy, Mimi J, Reenie, Timothy Love and Tunnel Signs, with part of the program hosted by Sosilly.

A partnership with deep roots in progressive house

Sasha and Digweed have been playing together since the early 1990s, becoming closely associated with the rise of progressive house and the era of long-form club sets.

Their 1994 Renaissance: The Mix Collection remains one of the defining mix albums from that period, while their subsequent club residencies and international tours helped establish the pair as one of electronic music’s best-known DJ partnerships.

Both have maintained major solo careers alongside their joint appearances, which makes extended Sasha & Digweed sets relatively occasional rather than a permanent touring format.

Their previous Australian reunion came in 2019, when they returned after 13 years apart on Australian soil. That included a two-show residency at Sydney’s ivy over the June long weekend.

The 2027 dates therefore bring the partnership back to Australia after another lengthy gap, this time with four hours behind the decks at each stop.
