About Seth Troxler
Previously voted the world’s number one DJ by Resident Advisor, not to mention having graced the front cover of Mixmag three times, Seth Troxler has established himself as one of the world biggest DJs!
He’s played at some of the world’s most discerning nightclubs such as fabric in London, Nordstern in Basel, The Lux in Lisbon, Blitz in Munich, and headlined the world’s largest festivals, including Glastonbury (UK), Movement (Detroit), Roskilde (Denmark) and Sonar (Croatia).
As one of electronic music’s most instantly recognisable characters, Seth has carved out his own unique path as a cultural commentator, art curator, restaurateur and entrepreneur. Having descended from a family of cowboys and Baptist preachers, he is part African-American, with a singular approach to viewing the world through the prism of contemporary music culture.
He draws upon the musical heritage of Detroit and Chicago – influenced by the likes of Richie Hawtin and Moodymann. He’s also one of the founders of the record label ‘Visionquest’ and is the head of other labels including ‘Tuskegee’, ‘Soft Touch’ and ‘Play It Say It.’

In 2012 Lovefest got its recognition from the Ministry of youth and sports as the biggest youth festival in the country, and only a year after it was nominated by the UK Festival Awards as the best overseas festival.
The festival started back in 2007.
