Organisers of Zurich’s iconic Street Parade have unveiled plans for the upcoming 30th birthday. The all-day party is set to take place on Saturday, August 12th from 1pm to midnight!
Dubbed ‘’the most colourful house and techno parade in the world’’, the event will once again attract hundreds of thousands of dance fans from every corner of the globe.
What to expect
Around 30 brightly decorated trucks packed with giant music systems, DJs and party people, will drive at walking pace through the crowd of people around Lake Zurich.
In addition to the ‘Love Mobiles’ mobile floats, 8 stages along the route will showcase around 200 top DJs, live acts and multimedia.
The initial line-up this year includes electronic acts such as Marcel Dettmann, Deborah de Luca, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber, Patrick Topping, Jimi Jules b2b Trikk, Seth Troxler, Skream and Anfisa Letyago among others.
Organisers said: ‘’The Street Parade is a dance demonstration for love, peace, freedom and tolerance. With the motto “I wish” the participants should express their personal wish in the anniversary year.’’
Street Parade is a not-for-profit and free-to-attend event. Visit the website for more information.
The Route
The 2.0 km long parade of Love Mobiles starts at Utoquai in Zurich’s Seefeld district. The trucks then roll around the Zurich lake basin via Bellevue, Quaibrücke and Bürkliplatz to Hafendamm Enge, with the party continuing at all stages along the route until midnight.
