The Warehouse Project has released a behind-the-scenes documentary to coincide with the start of the 2022 season that began earlier this month (10th September).

The 12-minute film, entitled ‘How The Warehouse Project changed clubbing forever‘ takes an intimate journey through the iconic clubbing brands history so far, beginning with its early inception at Boddingtons Brewery in 2006 to the legendary underground car park on Store Street, right up until present day at the 10,000 capacity Depot Mayfield.

As well as insightful reflections from the founders Sacha Lord, Sam Kandel and Rich McGinnis, the short doco includes interviews with DJs & artists including Kerri Chandler, Bonobo, Hot Since 82, Annie Mac, Jamie Jones, Four Tet, Gilles Peterson, George Fitzgerald, Jayda G, Denis Sulta and more.

Shot over the last 4 years, the film covers the struggles of the pandemic, and (in their own words), ‘’hopes to document a few key moments behind the scenes during the last 17 years in Manchester’’.
