Looking to join our team?
Although we don’t currently have any advertised roles, we’re always open to hearing from talented writers and other media professionals. The best way to get in touch is via the email address at the bottom of this page, that way when a relevant opportunity does arise you might be the first to hear about it.
If you think you’re up to it, and as a way of a qualifier, you should roughly fall into one of two categories:
1: Write for an audience of dance & electronic music fans
Bottom line: If you have excellent writing skills, and, if you’re passionate about dance & electronic music, we want to hear from you!
Your personal or professional profile could resemble someone in the music industry (or someone aspiring to get into it), such as a DJ, a DJ/Producer (of any level), a musician of some sort, a writer/journalist, an avid festival-goer, or just a mixture of all of the above.
A variety of journalistic or online media qualifications/experience is definitely desirable although by no means essential.
2: Write for an audience of aspiring, beginner or intermediate-level DJs
We’d be looking for passionate DJs that, at the very least, have played out in a professional capacity at a number of different venues. In addition to your experience as a working DJ (past or present), you could also be a music producer, a musician, a writer/journalist, or a mixture of all of the above.
Bottom line: If you think you can provide genuine value to an audience of aspiring, beginner, and/or amateur-level DJs then we want to hear from you.
Once again, a variety of journalistic or online media experience/qualifications are always desirable although by no means essential.
Any of these sound like you?
