The phase 1 lineup has also been released, with the likes of Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, Camelphat, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Nina Kraviz, Martin Garrix and Tiesto all on the card.
Not to get confused with the new Creamfields in Essex, just be aware that this event is branded as ”Creamfields North”.
Tickets for Creamfields are now on general sale for the 2022 edition. Next year will mark the 25th anniversary for the UK festival brand, with organisers promising their biggest event yet!
After having to take a year off due to Covid in 2020, it was great to see the UK’s oldest and most prestigious electronic music festival back in full swing last month.
The four-day, 70,000-capacity camping festival once again offered up festivalgoers an eclectic mix of dance music genres—a list including House, Techno, EDM, Trance, Drum & Bass and Hardstyle—across 10 different arenas and two massive outdoor stages.
Some of this year’s acts included heavy-hitters such as Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, The Chemical Brothers, Nina Kraviz, Carl Cox, Above & Beyond, Bicep, Kolsch, Tiesto, Fisher, Charlotte De Witte, Jamie Jones, David Guetta, Hot Since 82, Sub Focus, Hannah Wants, CamelPhat …and the list goes on.
The 2022 lineup is yet to be announced.

Over 200,000 people signed up for presale ticket access, which is even more reason to be quick this time around.

Creamfields 2022 will be held in Daresbury in Warrington over August Bank Holiday weekend, scheduled from 25 Aug – 28 Aug.

Since its inception in 1998, Creamfields has become one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world, inviting big-name artists including Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Eric Prydz, Tiësto, Deadmau5, Carl Cox, Bicep LIVE, Chase & Status, Pendulum and The Chemical Brothers.
As of 2022, there will also be a ‘Creamfields Chelmsfield’ held in Essex.
Internationally, Creamfields is one of the few festivals to have successfully established itself on the global market with shows staged in Chile, Abu Dhabi, Ibiza, Malta, Argentina, Peru, Hong Kong and multiple cities across China to name a few.
In more recent times, Creamfields won the ‘Best Dance Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards in 2015, as well as ‘Best Major Festival’ in 2016. It was also awarded ‘Best Large Festival’ with Skiddle in 2019.
What began as an offshoot of the legendary Liverpool nightclub ‘Cream’ is now the UK’s oldest and most prestigious electronic dance music festival.
